Settled in thick woods to the north of BrookClan and the west of RavineClan, RootClan's name derives from the many up-turned roots that cover the ground. There's not much bare ground for open hunting but the cats have adapted to stealth for creeping along roots and hunting in the trees. Basic woodland prey lives here as well as fish in the portion of the river that cuts through the forest.

The south-most clan with a name stemmed from the many creeks, brooks and streams that flow through the territory. The ground is wet under paw and makes for rough hunting with the exception for the stretch of open meadow to the west and the various water sources for fish. Reeds tend to be the only source of cover for this clan.

RavineClan was named for the large ravine cutting across the back of their territory, away from theie borders with other clans. The majority of RavineClan's territory is covered in open land with a few hills and tall grass. The prey mostly consist of rabbits and field mice, though the skilled hunter knows how to snag a bird.

Where you can and cannot be, timeless reminders of what separate the clans from tearing at the throats of their enemies and getting too close with one another. RavineClan - BrookClan, RootClan - RavineClan, BrookClan - RootClan.

A path forged from paw prints of long ago, engraved into the side of the ravine that leads half way to the bottom of the ditch. At the end of the path is a small tunnel in the ravine which opens to a natural cave with water trickling from the outside into it, forming a small puddle in the middle. Cats journey here to make contact with StarClan.

Long since abandoned by twolegs, this old farm sits on the edge of RavineClan territory. A home for non-clan cats or cats who are passing through, but it's also a key place for travels to the Winding Path to rest before and after their journey. A small patch of forest grows not too far from the back of the old barn, full of prey for when one needs fresh air from the stuffy hunting of the barn.

Outside of the clans and the barn is a mass of unclaimed territory. Not strong enough to support a full clan but enough to help raise the cats who chose not to ally themselves with clans. These lands lay between the twoleg neighborhoods and the clans, often times a kittypet will escape her to get away from their owners.

In the outer lands, far from both the clans and the twoleg area, a group of rogues live. They have a rough hierarchy with a strong leader and various second in commands, but are a ruthless bunch. For now though, they have no beef with the clan cats. The future gives an air of uncertainty, however. Their land is similar to RootClan's, with thick trees and heavy undergrowth.

Regular members are free to try and aid answering a question here. Suggestions for the site can also be posted.
